What does it mean to Be More Alive?

Our philosophy is simple: Make sense of wellness well-being across everything from physical health across nutrition + exercise; to mental well-being impacted by personal relationships, professional assignments, spirituality; and improving ability to be more “present” in the moment.

No longer can we hide behind the excuse of ‘just going about our day’ - Be More Alive wants to awaken our consciences, helping us to improve our happiness, health and productivity.

Fitness

Exercise is controlled stress for your body to remain fit and healthy. Focus needs to be on time-efficient, effective exercises. Daily 10 minutes of intense exercises that push your heart rate towards 85% of max heart rate and target multiple muscle groups.

Nutrition

Food is the energy fuel for your body. Be more aware of what you put into your body and how your body reacts. A high-protein, high-fibre, plant-based diet, free from any processed chemicals or additives is the optimal fuel.

Mind

Rather than letting your mind wander and take you in multiple directions, one must learn to pause and reflect. Why am I doing, what I’m doing? Does it resonate with you? Be more conscious in all your actions.

Humans are meant to move.

Being sedentary has become "normal". Most of us have a disconnect between our mind and body, our jobs don't require our bodies, as we simply find ourselves sitting at desks tapping on keyboards. We only notice our bodies when "something goes wrong” with it.

But did you know that 15 minutes of physical exercise on a daily basis can do wonders? If you are ever short on time, do 10 burpees with knee tuck. Rest for 30 seconds. Repeat again for another 7 times. Simple and highly effective!

Our body is our temple. Feed it right.

Food is meant to be nutrition for our body. Unfortunately, the food we eat is harming our bodies and we end up taking medication or supplements to sustain ourselves. Let food be the medicine. Be more aware of what you put into your body.

Focus our mind on the right things, and actions will follow.

It is very easy to be frivolous but is it sustainable? One needs to build depth in whatever one pursues. Unfortunately, our minds get easily distracted and we can’t persist for too long. Learn to pause and let your mind slow down.
